New Cities

US Capital is a full-service private financial group headquartered in San Francisco. Through its investment bank affiliate, US Capital Global Securities, LLC, the firm provides private placement services and has wide distribution for debt and equity private placements. The San Francisco event showcased two premium real estate impact investment opportunities, New Cities Investment Partners, LLC (“New Cities”) and the US Capital / Noble Capital Texas Real Estate Income Fund, LP (the “Noble Fund”).

Lee Newell, CEO at New Cities, presented the firm’s exclusive Maple & Main Project, a $110 million mixed-use, affordable multi-family complex in the San Francisco East Bay. The development has been unanimously approved by the Hayward City Council and is expected to be a catalyst for downtown revitalization. The project consists of 240 market-rate and affordable apartments and 5,571 square feet of retail space designed using eco-friendly and socially responsible principles. There is also an existing 50,000-square-foot medical office building, which will be remodeled into Class A medical office space.

Chris Ragland, COO at Noble Capital, discussed the Noble Fund’s investment strategy, which leverages his firm’s impressive track record in the Texas market. The Noble Fund originates and services residential rehabilitation loans, senior secured by real estate, to qualified businesses with proven experience rehabilitating single-family homes for a profit in the Texas market, while mitigating the risks of lending to builders and smaller developers. With an 8.25% hurdle rate in favor of its Limited Partners, the Noble Fund aims to provide a much greater level of sophistication for individuals and family offices looking to invest in the Texas real estate market.

In addition to these presentations and Q&A, the evening was structured to provide attendees with a unique opportunity for direct conversations with the speakers representing these premium real-estate impact investment opportunities.
