US Capital Partners Increases Its Services and Support for Local and International Nonprofits

Supporting nonprofits and social enterprise causes is a key part of US Capital Partners' mission of leading the way in philanthropy and values-based investment banking.

US Capital Partners Inc. has a long and proud history of backing nonprofit and social enterprise causes and of giving back to the local community. The firm does this through its dynamic culture of employee and company giving and through its expanding Philanthropic Solutions group, which provides intelligently structured, custom financing for nonprofits in the United States and abroad.

Giving Back to the Local Community

US Capital Partners actively supports local philanthropic organizations, such as the San Francisco Food Bank, The Puente Project, Bhakti Projects, and Educational Opportunities of Los Angeles, which provides educational services for youth. The firm has a strong culture of philanthropy and giving back, especially to the local community.

Recently, for example, US Capital Partners hosted its inaugural “Meet the Suits” event in San Francisco, which brought together thought leaders from the technology and finance industries over cheese and wine to exchange ideas, strategies, and business cards. The event was a philanthropic success, raising over $3,000 for the SF-Marin Food Bank.

Bridget Carney, the Food Bank’s Community Engagement Coordinator, said: “We are fortunate to have smart, connected supporters like US Capital Partners. By donating ticket sales and matching the total, they turned an incredible networking event into a successful fundraiser. Because the Food Bank can turn $1 into $6 worth of food, the money raised will have a direct, immediate impact on the 30,000 families we serve every week. We can’t thank them enough for including us in a fun, philanthropic, and savvy networking evening.”

Leading the Way in Global Philanthropy

Nonprofits face many different challenges in striving to achieve both financial and social objectives. US Capital Partners’ expanding Philanthropic Solutions group delivers expertise and a comprehensive suite of financing and advisory services to help individuals and institutions build and sustain their nonprofit missions.

Last month, US Capital Partners helped formally establish Braj Bhumi Group Inc., a network of experienced professionals who provide a full range of pro bono financial, management, and strategic services to local and international nonprofit organizations. US Capital Partners further provided a $125,000 term loan for Braj Bhumi Group, for the purchase of a property in Badger, California for a sustainable farming, artistic, and yoga community based on traditional “celestial thinking” and deep values-based living.

US Capital Partners has a long history of backing small businesses and nonprofit organizations in the community through its financial expertise and best-in-class business lending solutions. The firm aims to be at the forefront of a new breed of investment banks founded on values-based business principles and actively looking to make a positive contribution in the world.
